Bitmine Immersion Technologies saw its shares decline 7% to $24.49 after Chairman Tom Lee announced the impending end of the company's weekly Ethereum accumulation programme. Speaking at a conference in Singapore, Lee stated that Bitmine will halt purchases once its balance sheet reaches 5% of Ethereum's circulating supply, a target the firm is currently approaching.

Bitmine accumulated 6,016,414 Ether—representing 4.9% of the circulating supply—over roughly a year, reaching its objective well ahead of an initial five-year timeline. Lee noted that the company may sell staking rewards to avoid exceeding the 5% threshold, ending one of the token's most steady sources of spot demand.

The announcement weighed across related assets. Sharplink dropped 5% to $8.99, Strategy fell 5% to $155.79, and the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF slipped 4% to $58.24. In comparison, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust slipped 0.3% to $776.84, highlighting selling focused predominantly on crypto-linked equities.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
