US Spot Ethereum ETFs Break Five-Day Outflow Run With $14.9 Million Inflows

Positive flows into Grayscale and Fidelity products offset withdrawals from BlackRock's ETHA, snapping a five-day losing streak for spot Ether funds.

United States spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded $14.9 million in net inflows on October 21, according to data from Farside Investors. The positive session snapped a five-day sequence of net withdrawals that had drained a cumulative $388.9 million between October 14 and October 20, recovering approximately 3.8% of those losses.

The aggregate gain was driven by mixed movements among major issuers. Grayscale’s ETH fund recorded $28.1 million in subscriptions and Fidelity’s FETH added $13.0 million, alongside smaller positive flows into products from Bitwise, Franklin, and Morgan Stanley. These gains counterbalanced a $29.3 million outflow from BlackRock’s ETHA, while other listed funds saw no net flow changes.

The modest turnaround marks a pause in selling rather than a confirmed broad-based recovery in institutional demand. The report notes that investment fund flows represent demand for specific exchange-traded vehicles and do not directly reflect on-chain metrics such as staking rates or transaction settlement volume.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
