Remixpoint Books Profit on Altcoin Divestment to Concentrate on Bitcoin
Remixpoint sold its entire altcoin reserve to focus exclusively on Bitcoin and support its industrial energy operations.
Japanese company Remixpoint liquidated its entire altcoin portfolio on September 1, realizing a net gain of ¥117.77 million ($598,400) and shifting its corporate crypto holdings exclusively into Bitcoin. Total sales reached ¥878.81 million ($4.47 million) against a book value of ¥761.04 million ($3.87 million).
The move marks a reversal from the firm's strategy in June, when it accumulated roughly 1.2 million XRP alongside Solana and Dogecoin to hedge against yen weakness, anticipating up to ¥12.44 billion ($63.21 million) in segment revenue. Management subsequently reevaluated the volatility risks of altcoins and adopted a selection-and-concentration approach.
Individual performance varied during the liquidation: Ethereum delivered a profit of ¥60.20 million ($305,900), Solana provided ¥49.30 million ($250,500), and XRP added ¥11.52 million ($58,500), while Ethereum and Solana generated a combined ¥29.87 million ($151,800) in staking rewards. Dogecoin was the sole loss-making asset, down ¥3.25 million ($16,500).
Remixpoint plans to deploy the proceeds to expand its industrial battery storage business and bolster financial reserves. Its digital asset treasury now stands at approximately 1,506 BTC, with leadership highlighting Bitcoin's lending capabilities, which generated 14.92 BTC in interest—worth ¥164.21 million ($834,300)—between February and August 2026 without selling underlying principal.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
