XRP advanced 3.9% to $1.39 over a 24-hour period following an agreement by Donald Trump to accept roughly 80% of ethics demands put forward by Senate Democrats regarding the Crypto Clarity Act. The move outpaced wider market gains, where Bitcoin rose 1.3%, Ethereum added 1.0%, and Solana increased 1.5%.

The compromise allows state attorneys general to initiate civil actions alongside the Justice Department and pursue legal action against trading platforms listing prohibited assets. Additionally, the updated rules require government officials, judges, and their spouses to place significant cryptocurrency assets into blind trusts or divest them, while prohibiting them from issuing or backing digital tokens during their tenure.

Sens. Cynthia Lummis, John Boozman, and Tim Scott published the 635-page final statutory draft, incorporating 126 modifications requested by Democrats. Among the provisions is a regulatory mechanism designed to curb deposit outflows from community banks into interest-bearing stablecoins. A Senate vote on the legislation is scheduled for September 15, 2026.

These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
