Vitalik Buterin Proposes EIP-8141 to Upgrade Ethereum Transaction Architecture
The draft proposal for the Hegotá hard fork introduces batched operations, gas sponsorship, and updated signature standards.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin published an updated draft for Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 8141, slated for inclusion in the upcoming Hegotá network upgrade. The proposal aims to modify how transactions are bundled, signed, and funded on the network.
Under EIP-8141, "frame transactions" would permit up to 64 individual actions within a single execution. The batch operates under an all-or-nothing condition, preventing partial completions such as a successful token approval followed by a failed swap.
The proposal introduces three main user-facing adjustments: account abstraction to allow key rotation and recovery without traditional paper seed phrases, paymaster integration enabling third-party applications to sponsor transaction fees for users, and support for the P256 signature standard used in mobile security chips and passkeys. Client teams have not yet established an activation date for the upgrade, while Ether traded near $2,512.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
