Ethereum has recovered from June lows near $1,500 to trade around $1,876, but momentum has moderated as buyers struggle to sustain advances above the $1,900 resistance level. The broader recovery remains intact, though softer capital inflows and lighter trading volume suggest the rally may need a stronger catalyst to break through.

Technical indicators show buyers retain a slight advantage but with diminishing force. The Chaikin Money Flow indicator remained positive at 0.03, confirming inflows still outweigh outflows, but this marked a significant decline from July peaks near 0.20. The Absolute Price Oscillator also remained above zero at 9.98, though it has gradually weakened in recent weeks, pointing to a slowing recovery rather than fresh acceleration.

Institutional demand has provided modest support, with US spot Ethereum ETFs attracting approximately $9 million in net inflows on July 31. That figure does not yet signal the sustained institutional accumulation typically seen during major breakouts. Support levels sit near $1,845, with a broader support zone at $1,800 that held throughout July. A decisive daily close above $1,900 would improve the technical outlook and potentially open the way toward the $2,000 psychological level, while a sustained move below $1,800 would weaken the recovery structure and increase the risk of returning toward the $1,700-$1,750 consolidation area.
