A wallet that received Bitcoin when the asset traded under $15 has moved its coins for the first time in 15 years.
A Bitcoin address that accumulated 49.97 BTC in July 2011—when the coin cost roughly $10—reactivated on August 6, 2026 after remaining untouched for more than 14 years. At current prices near $65,000, the position is worth approximately $3.23 million, representing a gain of over 634,000 per cent.
The wallet transferred its balance to a fresh address, which then moved funds to a FalconX-labelled wallet. FalconX is a prime broker serving institutional clients rather than retail traders, suggesting the holder may be consolidating holdings or preparing to move them closer to a sale or lending venue.

A single transaction from a 2011-era wallet destroys over 5,400 days per coin, a significant figure that typically signals either an early adopter taking profit or a relocation of coins for security reasons. Previous instances have pointed to both scenarios, with some ancient stashes moving to professional infrastructure rather than exchange accounts.
