BlackRock dominates $1B weekly crypto ETF inflows in best week since April
BlackRock's spot Bitcoin and Ethereum funds captured 80% of $1 billion in combined weekly inflows, marking their strongest performance in four months.
BlackRock attracted nearly $900 million into its spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds over five trading sessions in the week ending August 7, reflecting increased institutional interest in digital assets.
The firm's Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, recorded net inflows of $693.5 million, while its Ethereum ETF, ETHA, attracted $203 million. Combined, the two funds brought in $896.5 million. IBIT alone captured roughly 80% of the $865.4 million that flowed into all U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs during the period.
BlackRock's dominance extended to Ethereum. ETHA accounted for more than 83% of the $243.7 million that entered U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs. The fund began the week with a $9 million outflow on August 3 before reversing to record four consecutive days of inflows.
Other issuers contributed smaller amounts. Fidelity's Bitcoin fund FBTC attracted $116.5 million, while its Ethereum fund FETH drew $24.2 million. Ark Invest and 21Shares' ARKB accumulated $50.8 million, and Bitwise's BITB added $25.9 million.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
